Great advice. What dollar range could I expect to pay for a used M3, say 2006-2008?

Well 2006 is the E46 M3 (last gen) and you can get it in the high $20k to low $30k range.

The 2008 is the E92 M3 (current gen) and they lowest you can find one for is in the low $40k range.

No prob man. Anytime. I've been given plenty of great advice from here as well. Good luck with the decision and post pics of your Z

I saw a pearl white Z in person before someone bought it. I decided then and there is I ever buy another Z, it will be that color. I also saw a convertible one with a burgundy top and matching interior. Do you know off hand if the coupe can be purchased white with the burgundy interior? I am planning for my retirement.

I believe you can mix and match any available exterior/interior color combo. Other folks on this forum can correct me if I'm wrong. You just have to special order it, or your dealer can try to locate one for you. Obviously, if you special order or dealer locate, chances of getting a killer deal will be less likely than if you bought one off their lot.

The color combo I wanted wasn't uncommon, so luckily my dealer of choice had it available
