I saw a guy in a brand new Corvette. Although I'm pass the age of "mid-life" 35-45 as defined herein, I am not 60 or 65 as the grinning man appeared to be. For some of us, it takes us that long until the kids are gone and we can afford such a car. I bought my first sportscar, a red Rx7 in 1979, a year out of college. Again, I am convinced that people are simply projecting their own predilection onto others. I don't let it bother me. I just tell them "Are you okay? You're looking kind of tired these days."

it's all in good fun. but you guys that make fun of the older guys with their
new toys soon enough you will be in there shoes.... so then you can drive your chey volts and feel good about yourself.... live and let live to each his own.. i can wait till i'm 60 or even 63 but its going to be tough having to hold out for that corvette or maybe even what nissan has to offer............ ![]() |

I salute you. That is the way to do it. I wish I had saved more and spent less when I was your age. My only complaint about my Z is not seeing other Z's around here. Once in a blue moon I see a 350, but almost never another 370.
