Will never ever ever go to another Wal-Mart for an oil change. There is one right down from where I work and if I was busy traveling or what not I would swing my Z71 in there for an oil change. The third time I went there they call me and say I can either have my truck towed or that I could put my own oil in. I was like WTF, so I had a friend drive me down. Apparently sometime earlier they had stripped my oil plug and put a heli-coil in. They denied even though, I had all the reciepts from the previous oil changes. Then told me that they would not put oil in the vehicle with the heli-coil.

Long story short I had to go down in the pit, put my own oil plug back in and fill it. Then he tried to charge me...I went ballastic and told him I wasnt paying a dime, I just changed my own damn oil. He was going to say something till I pointed to the big sign that said "no customers past this point" and said you know why thats there right....

Since then I will always do my own oil changes. Walmart can DIAF.

Apparently they used an impact wrench or something, and with the Z71 having an aluminium oil pan they stripped it so far I couldnt even use an oversized plug in it.
