Doesn't make a difference in my opinion though. Even if the GTR had some miracle transmission and can shift between gears in less than .00001 second, I would still take a Ferrari over the GTR. My point is that overall, the Ferrari is a much sexier car than a GTR.

since the lowest priced ferrari (458 italia) is $225,000
the question should be would you take one ferrari over
two nissan GT-Rs, one nissan 370z, and one nissan juke (they add up to $225,000).

Since we're playing the "I Won the Lottery" fantasy game, I'll chime in.
Quality over quantity. One Ferrari, please. Besides, why would I want two GT-Rs?

easy
one for daily driving,
one for the weekends.

if you only have a $225k ferrari to drive, you are going to have serious problems unless you're so loaded that you don't care what happens to the car after you park it.

if one car is enough, one gt-r and $135k in the bank suit me fine.

Right.
Let's get back to reality here for those of us who drive 370Z's and maybe the occasional GT-R owner who hangs out on this forum (since I haven't noticed any Ferrari 458 owners posting).

It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Some Ferrari's are sexy, others not so much. The Italia is gorgeous, but previous offerings were either OK or just plain ugly. Some people can't get past the badge and who could blame them. For the record, I'd take an Italia over a GT-R any day of the week.... for a 612 scaglietti, I'd have to think about it.

It just seemed like you misread his post.
