I definitely don't regret getting the 6MT. To me it just feels more interactive. If the 7AT was actually a dual clutch type transmission then I would probably want that instead of the conventional automatic but only if the 6MT wasn't offered anymore. Regardless of which one is really faster, the 6MT is just more fun to drive to me.
