Just figured this out guys......... push the emblem towards the back of the car, while holding it in that position, with a fingernail on the opposite side (3:00 position), pull the emblem out. The whole thing pops out. Apparently this is how it's loaded. Makes is easy to get wax from around the edge etc, as well as replace if it burns out. No need to go in through the fender well. I feel much better now
