Default White or Red?

Trying to decide between white or red. I know it's a personal preference, but any thoughts would be welcomed. I have a black 335i right now, and I'm SICK of the maintenance.

Is red hard to take care of? I know the white would be really easy.

Thanks.

Have you seen them both in person?
I remember when I was picking colors for the 350 i was considering red until I saw it in person. It did zero for me. Now, I haven't seen red on 370 in person, so maybe that's changed. But I guess the moral of the story is you have to see em both up close and personal.

I prefer red, I've never had a red car, so that is my choice and next color.

Red to me would require some blacked out tail lamps to give some contrast. There is like, nothing in the rear to break up the monotony.

Dude, Red is a B*tch to take care of... OMG!!!!!!!!

I would say it is the next toughest color to black. No joke! I love my redline 350z, but it is very tough to keep clean. IT is actually considered a dark color. I thought it would be easy, but no.

Adding to the difficulty of keeping it clean is that the paint is flat - no metal flake - so every droplet of water, moisture, fingerprint etc just stands out because the metal flake does not mask it at all. It also shows light scratches a lot.

If you want a color that is easy to take care of, white is great. i had a white CRX back in the day. Also easy are silver and Platinum graphite.

Red is like having black - I own both black and red cars. Poor me trying to keep them all clean

Having said that - I will be selling my redline 350z to buy a Solid Red 370. I like red...

White is not that easy to take care of; it looks dingy if not maintained, and after any light rain. Your best bets for hiding dirt are the silver and gray colors. We have the white (my wife just loves it), and it looks classy, but I love the red as very few cars actually look good in red—the 370Z does! Red will be much easier to touchup than the white when it comes to paint.

I went through the same thing with the exact two colors, i orderd red without even seeing the car in person. Seen 09 red about a week ago in person for the first time and all i can say is daaaaamn. Good luck with the hard decision.

Same here. The red really looks sweet on this car.

I was given the choice of white or red and I chose white. The red is pretty but I thought it was too attention getting if you know what I mean.
