Hmmm, perhaps because the Z is not a "Sporty Coupe" -- it is a sports car. Notice there is no Z4 or Boxster both which start under 50k -- though

 . There is also no MX-5.The RX-8 is perhaps a counter-example to this, but it does have 4 doors and 4 seats
