That's because it is a photoshop of an Aston. This is not an actual design from Nissan...

Again, the car is real. The photos of it with the white backdrop are real.

It's simply a concept. However, I wouldn't say it's far-fetched to see Nissan push out a hybrid Z, especially if the Leaf ends up being successful.

It is, 149 inches in length, 67 inches wide, and 49 inches high.

It weighs two thousand two hundred pounds--2,200 lbs.!

I'll believe it when I see it. The Tesla weighs in at over 2700 lbs and that's because it starts life as a Lotus Elise frame that weighs about 2000 lbs in gasoline engine form. If Nissan can beat that, it will ber a miracle

That hybrid motor I believe is based off of a VQ35DE motor, either that or a VQ35HR. I would not be interested unless it was a VQ37VHR Hybrid or at least an HR. DE motors FTL.

The VQ35DE is built in Iwaki and Decherd, TN. It was on the Ward's 10 Best Engines list from 2002 through to 2007. It features forged steel connecting rods, a microfinished one-piece forged crankshaft, and Nissan's nylon intake manifold technology. It has low-friction molybdenum-coated pistons and the intake is a high-flow tuned induction system.

Best, most reliable engine I've ever owned and doesn't use up any oil at all. I change the oil and 4000 to 5000 miles later, it's still topped off.
