I think they should have left it in the SUV model, makes no sense in the GT-R unless you're cruising around town.

Looks like Porsche is squarely in Nissan's sights again. I love it. Reminds me of the 80's.

A high-performance electric engine is a thing of beauty. Cruising around town will not be in the design plan. Don't let 'Hybrid' fool you. This ain't no Prius.

I'm an engineer, so I'm well aware of the physics. There is no way to power a 160W electric motor continuously for a track session without a massive battery pack. Sure it will go fast, but not for long. No serious tracker is going to buy this vehicle, it's for the "me too's" to take it cruising and show off, that's it.

pay no attention to that rendering its completely made up..as for the hybridpart... the technology already exists for nissan in the infiniti essence concept.. it would have to be extremely modified for a rear transmission AWD car but its doable.

either or i will have one of the first ones in 2013 no doubt

why can't sports cars stay pure?

I'm happy to buy an electric run around in 2013-15 but seriously sports cars...

that's why i got the 370z now... i'm worried the day of rwd petrol manuals are quite limited... I refused to live my life without having owned one...
