IMO people who choose the Z, don't choose it for HP. It is the combination of speed, handling, price, beauty, and the savvy nature that the Z has always had. Sure there are lots of faster cars, but we choose the Z for its wholesomeness and not individual specs.

Based on the "Non-mod owners unite" thread, I call BS on that one. A lot of people feel the Z is lacking in the power department, apparently. Just look at their mod lists. A few contain suspension stuff, but almost all contain power enhancing mods.

I've got CAIs, but not because the VQ was lacking in power for me. I got it for a slight power bump, but I also got it for the sound.

In fact, I like CAIs so much, I would probably have gotten them in any performance car. Heck, my DD has them.

I put a K&N panel-filter in my G20. I know what you mean, lol. It did actually make it sound a bit deeper.

Not only did I do the cai/cbe on my Z, but i also did them on wifes' XC-70 wagon. A great sound and a little kick in the pants.Did I metion the improved mpg?:
