For those ready to buy a 370/other new Nissan or Infiniti Vehicle

<o></o>PREFACE: If this post seems inappropriate; please feel free to remove/move - you won’t hurt my feelings!
<o></o>
Hello folks!

For any of your who are planning to buy a new 370 or for that matter, any new Nissan or Infiniti vehicle within the next two to three months please feel free to contact me by PM.
<o></o>
As do most manufacturers, Nissan offers special pricing on Nissan vehicles for Nissan employees as well as employee’s family members, and friends. Typically, an employee can only offer this benefit to a very select few per year but for a short time, Nissan as removed the “cap” on how many people an employee can offer this incentive to.
<o></o>
The program allows an employee or an individual the employee has sponsored to buy a vehicle at pre-determined, reduced prices – no negotiating or haggling with the dealer is needed to get a good deal. The dealer simply sells you the vehicle at the predetermined price which is typically, a much better price than an individual can negotiate on his/her own.
<o></o>
Bear in mind that dealer participation is optional. Not all dealers will participate in the program or only participate on certain vehicles - please don’t be mad at a dealer if they decline; remember that dealers are independent businesses who have the right to do what they think best for their dealership!

If you are interested and truly ready to buy, please feel free to contact me!

EDIT: THIS PROMOTION HAS ENDED

I am continuing to get PM/other message request for information about this promotion.

I don’t wish to be mean to anyone but please understand that this promotion ended on June 30th. I can no longer issue VPP claim numbers as I did under the promotion nor do I have any special insight on whether a dealer is offering you a “good deal” or not.

Unfortunately, I did not win the free one year lease; such is life! Nevertheless, I’m glad I got to help a bunch of you obtain you new vehicles (mostly 370s) at a good price.

Should this promotion be repeated in the future rest assured that I’ll do my best to help as many of you as I can.

Thanks!

Ditto...Thank Robert!

if i do decide to buy, will it have to be in your area?

Robert_Nash 04-01-2009 08:24 PM

No...you buy from whatever dealer you want to buy from and who participates in the program.

alvinmathew88 04-01-2009 08:38 PM

why now!! why!! My parents just bought an brand new 08 Infiniti m35 in December!!! Can you beat $38,500 for Tech + Sports Package?

WooZ 04-01-2009 09:15 PM

doh! No ready yet..But really great of you to offer. Thanks.

Operator 04-02-2009 12:43 AM

how much lower is this employee pricing on the 370z vs the invoice prices we've seen on this forum?

tbonesteak 04-02-2009 01:38 AM

^^ i agree. If this "program" can match or beat invoice price, i will jump in immediately.

On a side note, what do you get out of promoting this? I'm sure you're not promoting this at a loss....maybe an incentive from the dealer?

I'm not in a position to give you specific numbers - best I can tell you that if you are ready to buy, we can get you set-up with the ID number you'll need and you can take it to the dealer - if they'll participate they'll give you the exact price.

As I said, it's a no-haggle price that, at least usually, is a better deal than most people generally get negotiating on their own.

This thread explains the program pretty throroughly:
http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...companies.html
Pricing comes out at close to invoice, the dealer makes out better, and Nissan moves some iron. Win/win/win all around..

Asheth 04-02-2009 08:35 AM

If this Man doesn't get major rep points for this! :ughdance:

That is great another example of how good this Community and forum are!

All Nissan employees (employees of the company itself or affiliates) can provide the Vehicle Purchase Plan benefit to family or friends (and of course themselves).
<o></o>
You can find details of the program here: Nissan Vehicle Purchase Program
<o>
</o>You would be able to participate under the “C Plan”.

<o></o>All employees are encouraged to use the program for themselves and family and friends; however as I said above, we are generally restricted to just a few per year (including any vehicles we might want to buy for ourselves)…that restriction has been lifted for this quarter.
<o></o>
Typically, we don’t get anything “out of it” except the chance to promote the products of the company we work for. For this quarter, however, for any VPP claim number we obtain that ultimately results in a sale, our name is put in a raffle and the winner will receive the free use of any Nissan (sans GT-R unfortunately) or Infinity vehicle of their choice for year.
<o></o>
It’s a nice prize but given the thousands of employees who will be participating, I’m not overly optimistic about winning - if I happen to be lucky enough, I’ll let you all know!

alan93rsa 04-02-2009 10:15 AM

Should be able to save enough extra to pay for that oil cooler that Nissan left off the 370Z ;)

DIGItonium 04-02-2009 10:46 AM

Thanks for the helping hand, Robert. I asked my sales guy to get some information about VPP today.

The job situation I'm in right now is getting more gloomy each day based on rumors. This is the 3rd round less in less than a year, and it is approaching fast on the same week my Z is delivered (end of this month). :ugh:

Sounds like a win-win situation then for everyone involved! So, what vehicle would you pick if you win (seeing that you already own a Z)?

I haven't had any oil temp problems so far although I've only autocrossed once so far this season...I'm taking the car to the Dragon (if you don't know what that is just do a search for "Tail Of The Dragon") this Saturday and another autocross on Sunday (assuming the weather holds).

I hope that if not this model year, maybe by next year they will offer the extra coolers either as options or include them with the sports package...summer get's pretty hot in Tennessee!

That's a good question and it would depend on the "timing" in terms of what was available.

Maybe a G37 drop-top or a Nismo 370...I also like the FX50s.

GeneralZod 04-02-2009 05:44 PM

I might take you up on this within the next month or two if the program is still available, Robert. Otherwise this is still a cool thing to do and I hope some people here get to take advantage of it and save some scrilla towards secksi parts.

nogoodname 04-02-2009 05:59 PM

JonnieN 04-02-2009 07:24 PM

Unfortunately no, it's for continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii.

Robert,

Yes, I am familiar with the Dragon. I've run it in my last 4 cars. None of which had an over heating issue. I'm looking forward to running it next month in my 370Z. In-between I'll be at Mid-Ohio. Please let us know how your run turns out. Hopefully no issues.

You need to come to ZAttack8 in Nashville April 17/18th ( Middle Tennessee Z Club )...we usually have a nice contingent from Ohio (ZROC) and this year will be no exception...the car show is at the new Nissan Headquarters complex and should be a He** of a good time (especially the Friday night party...if you've never seen a blender powered by a gasoline engine you need to come just for that!).

tbonesteak 04-02-2009 11:28 PM

So pretty much, if we do make the purchase under your id or whatever term you use to promote the sale, you will have more raffles in the drawing right? I'm within about a month of buying the z and would like to help you in any way possible. Let me know what i need to do. Thanks bro.

Right...every time I pass a claim number onto someone that actually results in a sale, it's like buying another raffle ticket for the drawing...whether that will appreciably increase my changes or not is hard to say considering how many people will be "in" the drawing but every little bit helps!

tbonesteak 04-02-2009 11:58 PM

so can i get the claim number? and that would be for the "c" discount package and not the A or B rite?

The Daiquiri Whacker has been a long time fixture at SCCA races. It is a unique item.

Unfortunately your event is the same weekend as our club at Mid-Ohio.

Thanks for the heads up<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

That's unfortunate...of course on any given weekend there is almost always something going on!

We'll have a good time but it's too bad you can't make it!
