Robert thank you for your help. I bought a fully loaded mt yellow z for about $200 below invoice with the information you provided (saved about $3k off MSRP). Found car on the Nissan inventory web site and did everything by e-mail. Only had to spend 30 minutes at dealer siging paperwork and listening to extended warrenty sales pitch. Your help was extremely appreciated
|
That's great news and I'm glad it worked out for you!
I know I'm enjoying my 370 and I'm sure you will too! |
Another new owner here bumping this thread. Thanks Robert!
|
I bought my loaded sport/touring Z with the help of Robert, just financed today. No hassle, just walked in, handed them the paperwork, and they gave me my price on everything printed out from the nissan website. Ended up saving just shy of $5k as they discounted the gap and warranty as well. Hopefully everyone Robert is taking the time to help are chipping in to his rep :D
You're the man Robert! |
I'm glad I can help...rep power or not! :)
|
pm sent.
|
Just another "bump"...you guys have been great with your response to this!
|
Hey robert... i am about to pull the trigger on a new 370 black/black w/ sport package. What would be the best price I could get for this going through you? I would not mind driving extra to a dealer who might be in the program. Could you PM me an estimate +- few hundred is ok... does not need to be on the money. Thanks man...

Hope that helps! |
Awesome
PM Sent, thank you for doing this, we look forward to seeing your photos in the GTR ;>
|
Kudos to Robert! I picked up my Monterrey Blue 6MT w/ Sport today. Dealer sniveled a bit about the VPP profits, but even ultimately gave me what I wanted for my Trade.. All in all a pleasant experience and the Z now sits in my Drive. Thanks again Robert!

Im ready to get mine. PM sent to Robert. Hope to be getting mine soon with this new VPP deal.
Brian |
Robert, you have PM from me. Thanks!
|
I'll be trying to get to everyone who have sent me PMs today - my club's annual ZAttack in Nashville ( Z-Attack! )was this weekend and it's been a busy week. We actually had to cut off registrations because of the response this year.
So...for those of you who have been waiting since Thursday I promise I'll get to you but I've been running on about 4-5 hours sleep since Thursday! |
Ah no wonder... I didn't get to save much as the car arrived a month sooner than anticipated. :-(
|
How much did you get it for out the door(including taxes and what not)

Calculate it using the info in the stickies (Invoice and VPP calculations) here: Nissan 370Z Pricing / Ordering Discussions - Nissan 370Z Forum Then add in taxes, tags, Doc etc for your state (all are different so there's no one answer here). You should be within a hundred or 2 of your eventual cost.. |
Ive read both and would still like to hear from these guys on how good of a deal they got.

Do you mean that because the car arrived earlier than you anticipated you didn't have as much time to save for the down payment? I ask because the arrival date shouldn't have any impact at all on the price of the vehicle. :) |
Haha I meant price negotiated versus VPP. Friday, I got the call that they received invoice that the delivery date would be 5/22, so I PM you with my information to get the VPP ready. The next morning I got a call that the car had arrived, so that really caught me off guard.
[sigh] Another day wait as they try to get the clear bra and tint done, and I'll be home with my Z. :driving: Quote:

Hey Robert, I tried to send you a PM but you have exceeded the limit for stored PM's. Any idea when you can make some room for new PM's? I'm ready to go out and get my Z at the VPP price...:icon17:
|
Yep. Robert, you are over your PM inbox capacity limit.
BTW, where in middle Tennessee are you? I'm in Warren County, between Morrison and McMinnville. |
hey Robert question for you, how long do we have from the time we get all the info from you to go to the dealer, is there a time frame we need to get the deal done from when you provide us with all the information ?

Yes it is good for 90 days. I ordered mine then had Robert do the VPP the same day. In retrospect, I probably should have waited a bit just in case my order takes a ridiculously long time, but I was too excited!

I downloaded all the "sent" messages I had been keeping so it's clear now! I live in Murfreesboro (and in case you were wondering, I was close enough to see the EF4 tornado pass by on Good Friday...thankfully, it missed me). :) |
how does the vpp work on ordering cars from the factory? Do we have to take delivery before the vpp code expires or just get the car on order?

If it turned out to be a problem I'd certainly try to work with you to take care of it. |
Seems like an awesome deal. Wish I had a little more saved up, I'd be all over this!

In the meantime, your dealer is probably the best source of info on that (in fact I'd suggest calling a couple of dealers). |

That doesn't mean every dealer is going to have exactly what you might want but you should be able to find one somewhere...that may change as we get later in the season but we'll just have to wait and see on that. |
For any of you who have PMed me or emailed me over/since last weekend; I'm totally caught up on what I had on my plate so if you haven't received a reply from me, you may want to PM me again.
Sorry if I've overlooked anyone and thanks to everyone who has contacted me so far! |
Robert, do you get any notification of who has purchased their vehicle using your paperwork? Curious to see how many people got their Zs thanks to you :D
|
robert you said this will go on until june, but is it until june to walk into the dealer with the number you provide us with or will we still have 90 days after that to go in and still get the deal ? Just asking as i still saving and was planning on buying towards the end of the year
