I'm waiting until they have some sort of special and offer 2.9%, then i'll have a Z in the garage, next to my brothers g37s!

Get PenFed at 3.99% or check other large credit unions for better rates, some have 3.75%. You will not see 2.9% from Nissan on the Z, ever.

My dad works for Infiniti, and after five months of the g37 being out they offered 2.9%, so there is a possibility. but then again, the 370z sells a lot less than the g37 so i'm not sure.

You will see it for the Altima and the Maxima and the other high volume cars, but not on the Z.

DNadar 05-26-2009 10:19 PM

Damn. Well my dad says he wants to wait until it goes down to 2.9% to get it, so looks like my hopes of getting it are pretty low. Oh well, i'm happy with my current car so no worries!

Nothing would surprise me with this economy and how slow cars are moving. BMW has pulled some crazy financing deals over the last 3-4 months, and with forecasts of 370z sales cut by two-thirds, Nissan may try to move some units.

I work for Nissan.

Folks, I'm going to be a bit out of pocket as I'm at ZDayZ starting Tomorrow (Thursday)...I'll catch up all the requests I have when I'm at my hotel on Thursday night but probably won't do any more until Sunday evening at the earliest.

So...if you've sent me a PM or email and don't have a response by Friday morning; you might need to re-send/follow-up!

mspeasl 05-28-2009 09:32 AM

Robert,

It's been almost two months now since you started handing out VPP to all of us. I for one have greatly appreciated it since thanks to you I now own a fantastic new 370Z instead of my pre-ordered 03. Just out of curiosity, how many new Nissan sales have you been responsible for in these last two months? And where do you stand in the "Drive anything Nissan" for a year contest that you are involved in?

junki 05-28-2009 10:00 AM

Hey Robert,

I sent you a PM and email yesterday about the VPP and am looking forward to hearing from you. In the meantime, have fun at your event!

Jeff

So far I've processed 79 requests but I don't know yet how many of them have actually turned into sales...dealers have to file the paperwork with the VPP group.

As to where I stand...it's a raffle so who knows...I could easily loose to someone who had one sale...I don't think they do the drawing until the fall. :)

My apologies to those of you who have been waiting...I was attending ZDayZ at the Tail of the Dragon/Fontana Dam, NC and was pretty much out of pocket from Wednesday through Sunday night...I had anticipated good internet access at my hotel but it was pretty poor.

Anyway...I believe I have everyone caught up so if you've sent me a PM and/or an email and haven't heard back from me by now then please follow-up with me.

Thanks to everyone who has participated!

sig11 06-05-2009 09:30 AM

Do you know if dealers will usually honor a previously quoted trade price and the chances they will do dealer trades for cars they don't have?

My apologies if I missed these questions in the thread. Search turned up nothing.

Swede 06-05-2009 10:10 AM

Anyone owns a big boat and a container? If so ill get one 370Z Nismo once they are released if you can offer me a good price ;)

Robert,

Will you not be able to offer the VPP pricing after June 30th for the rest of the year?

SvR370z 06-06-2009 09:25 AM

Robert,
Ive sent you a couple pm and emails and havent heard back. Can you please help me out.

Portlis 06-06-2009 02:02 PM

Hey Robert,

I'm strongly considering getting a new 370z here in the coming months. Here's my question.

I work for a company that participates in the VPP program, Qwest Communications. Is the employee offered VPP program that you are offering here any different than a corporate affiliate VPP program? Even if it is, I've got no problem helping you try and win your raffle if you want to throw me a number. Just shoot me a PM.

Thanks!

Actually, it should be the same program...if you were a close family member I have access to the better plan but for "friends", it's the same benefit level that Nissan offers to its partner businesses.

Which direction you go through is totally up to you but if you would like to go through me I'd be happy to set you up...just let me know. :)

I have access to the programm always; it's just that usually, we are limited to a few claim numbers per year (they are intended to be for our own use or for close family, etc.). It was just that for the first quarter of our fiscal year (April through June), they lifted the restriction on the number of claim numbers we have access to as a way to increase sales while the market has been going through it's trouble.

I don't mind helping anyone anytime but I usually can't help very many times in a single year. :)

rslavujevic 06-09-2009 10:22 AM

Hi,

sent you a PM last night

Silhouette 06-09-2009 04:07 PM

Hey Robert,

Sent an e-mail and a couple PMs yesterday. Hope to hear back from you soon! Good luck with everything.

280z/300zx 06-09-2009 04:45 PM

Sent you a PM this morning. Can't wait to here back. Thanks

Robert_Nash 06-09-2009 09:44 PM

Update

To date, I've had the privilege of issuing 86 VPP claim numbers; of course, not all of those are immediate sales (some vehicles are on order or folks are still trying to locate the exact vehicle they want) but still, the response from you all has been overwhelming AND appreciated.

Not all of those requests were for 370s but the majority were.

As I've mentioned before, I can continue to issue claim numbers through June 30th but as a practical matter, I'm going to have to cut it off a bit earlier than that...you see, I'm taking my 370Z from Nashville to Amarillo where I'll pick up Rout 66 which is where I left off when I traveled Route 66 from its origin in Chicago to Amarillo. I'll then take 66 as far west as I have time for (likely just to the California border) before I have to turn back and head home.

I'm leaving for that trip on Friday, June 26th and once I'm one the road I'll have very limited/sporadic access to the internet...you see, part of the charm of Route 66 is staying at vintage hotels which often don't have internet access.

All that to say, I really need to have all requests in by Wednesday the 24th...if you get it to me by then I promise I'll have your documents emailed to you before I head out on the 26th.

Thanks again to all who have participated - I hope you are enjoying your new vehicles.

Caught up again...anyone waiting for a reply to a PM or an email should have it; if you don't then please contact me again.

It's hard to believe this promotion is almost over...12 more days to go folks then I'm taking my 370 across country!!!

Just wanted to drop a thanks to Robert for the VPP program and to AK370Z for providing the financing info. Like many others I took advantage of both and picked up my new vehicle two weeks ago (yeah was having too much fun with it to report back here until now!)

Lug 06-14-2009 02:19 PM

MursePaolo 06-15-2009 02:12 PM

Looks good (although I like my Monterey Blue better)!

krnsamiam 06-15-2009 11:16 PM

Hey Robert I emailed you back with the information you requested. Hope to hear back from you soon. I plan on going to the dealership this Saturday.

Sashimi 06-16-2009 04:19 AM

thanks, I got your PM, haven't had a chance to fill everything out yet. If I can't get any of these used 370's I'm looking at I'll definently be using this. I've talked to one dealer so far but apparently they do not honor the VPP on 370z's -_- they offered me 100$ above invoice tho, whatever I'll keep on shopping
