FairladyZ???

That said, I prefer number and letter designations over most car names. I prefer 370Z to Fairlady, and 500GT sounds a lot cooler to me than Mustang. I like Ferrari

That said, I prefer number and letter designations over most car names. I prefer 370Z to Fairlady, and 500GT sounds a lot cooler to me than Mustang. I like Ferrari "four-five-eight" better than "Italia".

I find the funny thing about switching the name badges on a car is the notion of making it seem more Euro or JDM.
For a while, Miata owners were really big on switching out their Miata badges for the Euro "Roadster" or JDM "Eunos" versions. Luckily, US market Miatas got the same sturdy doors as the cars made for Europe and Japan, so those didn't need to be switched out.
Another thing that was interesting was that when we were big on clear tail lights and corners to make our cars look more JDM, the Japanese kids were trying to get red tails and amber turn signal lenses. I know people from other message boards who straight up swapped parts with Japanese members!
I guess if you don't have it, it's somehow more desirable.
