Snow Chain???

I have studded snows on my truck. They work great in the packed snow and ice but they are noisy as heck on a dry road and reduce traction slightly

I have studded snows on my truck. They work great in the packed snow and ice but they are noisy as heck on a dry road and reduce traction slightly on dry and wet roads. My other cars have studless snows and are almost as good traction wise and far quieter.

You probably won't need chains in Lafayette. Doesn't it only get icy when Purdue loses.

I've driven on glare ice with my Blizzaks and they're fine.

I've got some chains that I've never used if somebody wants 'em. Bought 'em for my 350 and we never had bad weather after I bought them.

I'm so glad I have a DD! I paid $3500 for my Frontier three years ago and all I have replaced on it is the battery, calipers, pads, and rotors. That was all in the last three months. Great truck. Good thing is I have an account with O'Reillys. Big savings there.
