Sorry to break the news to you guys, but I own a G37 and my car went into limp mode while doing a canyon run out here on Palomar at midnite. Lots of people have had oil heating issues with the G37 so far, and I witnessed it firsthand. I was hoping Nissan would've addressed this for you 370Z guys since they've known about the problem.
But yeah, Limp mode FTL. Redline drops to about 6,200, throttle is reduced to about 40% no matter if you have it floored. Since then, I've changed to Eneos 5W30 and haven't had that problem come up since, and I've done the same canyon run twice now.
