Nice review. I also felt that my Z was a great value.

The range of engagement for the 370z is much smaller than most cars but it isn't that bad. I got used to the clutch within 10 minutes. I don't think it is a on/off type of clutch because I still feel a range of engagement when I release the clutch.

Yeah, honestly it's not that bad at all. It just takes some time to get used to if you're used to a car that has a wider engagement range. I think the people that make a stink about are usually the ones that haven't been able to really adapt to the car. The clutch in my 5.0 has roughly the same feel as the Z.

Good review. Agree with the flywheel assessment. I agreed with the clutch comments until I upgraded the exhaust and intake. This corrected many of the issues I had with the clutch.
MINI Cooper clutches are far worse!!!! They allow for too much slippage. Built for the masses. Good luck with the plan for another Elise! Love those rockets!

I can't complain about many clutches after running a single disk clutch rated for 600 wtq (very briefly) in the S. Trying to drive in traffic with that would usually result in hitting the passenger's head on the windshield from time to time. |

Yep. This improved throttle response and made the clutch feel more consistent. I thought I was the only one, but after reading some threads in the tech section I found that others found this to be an effective solution without upgrading the clutch.
