Actually, AAA suggests that you park close to wherever you are. You risk people hitting your car when they open their door, but its the safest place to park. Park

Actually, AAA suggests that you park close to wherever you are. You risk people hitting your car when they open their door, but its the safest place to park. Park where there are a lot of people walking by, where you/people can clearly see your car.
Plus, personally, I think you risk looking like a douche when you park far off on its own. No offense.
