Yeah, sounds like the steering lock issue in this case. If the computer can't activate the steering lock solenoid to retract it then it won't let you start the car.

Yeah, sounds like the steering lock issue in this case. If the computer can't activate the steering lock solenoid to retract it then it won't let you start the car. It seems to be a somewhat common problem across the entire Nissan line.
