Worst Ticket you have ever got and result?
I'll start, I was going 94 in a 50, Morris Plains NJ.
$250 ticket, got license suspended for 30 days. It was my first ticket I had ever had, really surprised I got suspended. I had a lawyer and everything, I don't think the judge really liked me. That piece of sh!t. Last time I will ever speed like that again!! 07 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe |
Well my wife got a 92 in a 70 last week. That's worse than any of mine. No result as of yet. We are trying to get it taken car of on the inside. ;)
|
My only ticket was a 100 in a 65 in the Z, worst part was I was on cruise control doing 75.
He wrote it for 100 and no front plate. Got a lawyer and paid 100 bucks to the court and did defensive driving. Lawyer got it reduced since 35 over is out side the range for taking defensive driving but was never told what the judge reduced it for. |
85 in a 55 in my 08 3.5 Altima. $200 fine and 6 points on my lincense. And in the state of NY when you get 6 points on your lincense your get charged $300 surcharge. I'm just about to pay my last payment over the course of the past 3 years. Insurance never went up??? And this was 3 years ago.

going 60 in a 50. Thats kph not mph! something like a $40 ticket
|
90 in a 55 (empty highway in NC) At the time i just got a ticket to appear in court. Hired a lawyer to go for me cause i was in the military and just couldn't take off for court. Apparently they weren't able to get it reduced cause a year later i got a letter from MI saying my license has been suspended for 90 days and that i had to pay like a 2k fine.
Also my insurance (Allstate at the time) gave me the boot and the only place i could find that would insure me was Progressive and of course my insurance went from like 90/month to 200/month |
worst ticket i ever got was for the car had traded in for the Z.
the new owner ran the red light and they sent me the citation indicating i was the driver. I contested and the citation was cleared after a few months. |
about 10yrs ago wife was going 50 in a construction zone (with everyone else) although there were no construction equipment no workers, just a sign and big cones. there was light snow, no accumulation and was at night.
shitto cop from villa redneck pulled her over and had to go to their shitty little town a month later to pay a $650 fine for speeding in a construction zone and going too fast for conditions or some shitto reason. the clerk was sympathetic and asked if she wanted to pay on a monthly payment plan. LOL! she was pissed so just slapped a wad of cash and they were amazed people have money outside their shitty redneck town. :D |

But yea, the ticket since it was 20+ over was automatically counted as reckless driving which is a misdemeanor so i got screwed all over the place. Since then i havent really sped more than 10 miles over. The fastest ive had the Z is to 90 and that was for like 5 seconds. Im to paranoid now. |
75 in a 50, although highway patrol claimed to be letting me off easy with a 55 in a 50. (f-er was going the other way and i was going down a damn hill for crying out loud). this was in nevada, so i didnt bother fighting it. ticket came out to about 100bucks for bail/fees/driving school.
the one time i didnt bring my escort 9500ix.. |
90 on a 75. Female cop said "Damn! That's fast! Be careful sweetheart!" No ticket just a warning.
|
worst ticket i ever got was on a yamaha r6 i used to have. if anyone knows where the long beach airport is in long beach, california, theres a nice tunnel in between 2 main streets, and 2 on ramps to a freeway right after the tunnel. well i cut the lanes in about 2nd gear and timed it so i cut it right into a green light. well right after hitting the crosswalk i tucked and opened that puppy up. SCREAMIN all the way thru the tunnel. i had a yoshimura full pipe so i couldnt hear anything but the wind and my motor. 80..90..100..110..120..130..passed the onramps and hit the light at the other side....
well i didnt know, but apparently a cop had light me up right as i passed the intersection before the tunnel... i would have known this but i was in full tuck so i couldnt see in my mirrors.. this cop hops out of the car with his gun out yelling "GET OFF THAT BIKE TAKE THE KEY OUT TAKE THAT DAMN HELMET OFF SIT ON THE CURB NOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!" im like oh snap aight no problem officer... hes yellin "YOU GOT A DEATH WISH SON, YOU COULDA KILLED YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE!! HOW FAST WERE YOU GOING?!?!?" lol i said "i dunno a hundred? i have a bigger sprocket so my speedo is off..." he instantly said "******** I WAS DOING A HUNDRED AND YOU WERE STILL PULLING ON ME!!! YOUR LUCKY I DIDNT THINK YOU WERE TRYING TO EVADE ME!!!" cuz of the onramps right there... speed limit on that particular road is 45.. he told me he could have impounded my bike took my license and gave me a whole slew of other fines... i lucked out completely because i guess he got another call, and just wrote me up for a regular speeding ticket.... **** still ended up about 450 bucks because i had got a red light ticket and some other bs ticket in about a 4 or 5 month period... this was the last one and it was a big penny. i dont know if you guys ever rode sport bikes, but god damn those things are fun |

:wtf2: I have never just gotten a warning. I got pulled over because my lights in the rear were not yellow enough. Douche wrote me a ticket for $7. |
92 in a 55. was told to write an essay, do 40 hours service and defensive driving course..
I did none of the above. 9 months later. Got a letter, please just pay the 300$ fine instead. No points, no record no insurance hike! |

This past July, the ticket was for 64 in a 40 mph zone. The officer said I was going almost 70 but he only wrote the ticket for just under the MPH where he would impound my car and make me go to court. (25 mph = go to court, 30mph = impound car) - so I got off with a $200 ticket and that was that. Insurance didn't even see the ticket (they said so when I asked about Z insurance) because it was my first one ever.
Jeep Grand Cherokee... I was going the opposite direction from the cop. He said "I turned my radar on when I saw you because you were VISIBLY going fast!" -- sure enough my fuzzbuster didn't go on until he flipped his on when we rounded a hill. Thought only laser was that fast, but he had three readings on his device - 67 mph, 68, mph, 69mph |
I have had too many tickets. Dont want to list them all. But i will just say that the second ticket i got with the z is a speeding ticket. i was going 85 on 55. i got court tomorrow. wish me luck. thinking the ticket is gonna come out to 4 or 5 hundred bucks.

The worst I ever got was a speed ticket + turning on red light. Both from the same cop at the same time.
Went to court with a bar attorney (50 bucks) and received super vision for 6 months + court fee (20 Bucks). Everything added up, it cost me 70 dollars to get rid of the two tickets. Everyone else in line waiting to pay for their tickets were stumped at how I managed that. |

Never gotten a ticket and have never been pulled over, I guess it is a matter of time though but I try to pick my time and place wisely before laying my right foot down.

Ok I feel like no one's gonna beat this one...got a ticket for going 70 on a 65.
Cost was around $450 this was about 3 years ago. EDIT: it wasn't filed as a speeding ticket. They called it speed evading which is BS because I barely got on the freeway and was merging to the left. |

When I moved to Montana back in the mid '90's, there was no daytime speed limit. The rule was "reasonable and prudent" for road conditions. If the highway was dry and you were in a decent automobile, the troopers wouldn't even give you a look until you doing over 95 mph. It was nice but you sure could go through the gasoline.

My worst ticket is framed on my wall, being the most expensive piece of art I own...
Blazing down unpopulated country backroads on my Hayabusa..."oh look a cop", and I have to come to a stop at the "T". 145 in a 55. After lawyer, etc. ~ $2000 Worth every penny. He kept me out of jail, because he plays golf with the county commissioner ;) The ticket disappeared, but the message relayed to me was, "Don't get caught speeding in GA again, or you won't like it". |

I hear you. After having sport bikes (gixxer 1K, and hayabusa) (and doing a ton of track days)...everything else seems to be in slow motion. That's my problem with the Z. Doing 100+ feels so slooooow. Been getting my fix on some 100+MPH off/on ramps early AM or late PM...think it's a short matter of time before the Z sees the track. |

no cam on my head.. alot of poeple do what i did i just got caught red handed. all i got was a point and the fine..im curios as to what video tho.. the dash cam on the cop car woulda got it. was there a red camaro in it?

I really cannot said worst tickets, if not stupid tickets, like for example HOV violation because people around here don't know how to drive and for having out of state driving license.
Knock on wood, no speeding tickets in more than 10 yrs. |

Worst ticket I ever got was to see Lover Boy in concert in the '80's.
There's 90 minutes I'll never get back. |
Mine was 93 on 55. I think I lucked out though...was slowing down from 140ish. If I can remember correctly it was like $360. I've had so many though, last time I got a ticket (80ish in 55) I had to go to court and the judge said there was no way I was getting away from it with my license and had me come back in a few weeks later for the trial. Hired Ticket clinic to go for me and got a letter about a week after saying fine was reduced to $140 and no points. I swear they have some kickback system with the state....they don't even have to argue, they just go in and say "Hi Judge!" and the ticket gets reduced...and then of course you go back to ticket clinic for all your ticket needs....a game I'm happy to play.

114 in an 80 (in texas). Trooper got of his car with his gun in his hand and ordered me out of the vehicle (c6 vette).
I had a radar detector that went off. I was actually going over 150 when the detector went off. I got down to the 114 before I flew by him. Ticket was in the high $300s if I remember correctly. Not too bad considering what he could have done. Although the highway was completely open, it was still pretty stupid in hindsight. |

Mine was 1am driving near Reno on the way home to colorado. I had been driving for over 8 hours and was going to pull over in Reno to let someone else drive. Had the cruse control set at 110mph and came up on a empty construction zone. State patrol was hiding out there and pulled me over. Talked to the trooper and he was pretty cool about it. He wrote me up for cited speed 62 in a 55. Funny thing is the ticket does say actual speed 110. He didnt even mark the construction zone. cost me like $70 with no points.

61-45 cop got out of his car and asked if I have ever owned a 350z. Started asking me questions about my car told me his wife and himself both have 350z. Let me go with a warning. First time my sport car got me out of a ticket.
|
70 in a 45 while driving my 99 grand prix gt. The cop was cool and wrote it for a 55 and told me to slow down.
Also was pulled over for racing a boneville in my si and was written a ticket for a noise violation. |
