Fu*k yes it was.
He asked me- "why did you do that sir? Should you comply with signs and regulations like everyone else and stay in the speed limit ?"
I responded- "if I wanted to do all the above I'd had bought a Prius"

And just last night I got a ticket doing 80mph on a 40mph

:rofl2:I got a ticket for going 60 in a 40, AND a no insurance ticket, because my insurance company applied the payment to the HOUSE payment which wasn't due, instead of to the car payment. Which is total BS, I even got a letter and showed it to the court and they didn't care. They said "The fact of the matter is you didn't have insurance at the time of the stop." ... I was without insurance for 2 weeks because of the insurance company's mistake and they won't do anything about it. $600 ticket, plus $300 surcharge every year for 3 years, plus my insurance is now a lot higher (Also BS!!) AND if I get pulled over, the cop always gives me **** for "not having insurance" ... so bye bye warnings if I do happen to get stopped. Such bs... All this and I did nothing wrong aside from trusting my insurance company not to be imbeciles. I hate Progressive.

And when I was young, I was driving to the next biggest city, and was clocked doing 96 in a 30....
Didn't notice that little town in between cities and just blew through it. :rofl2:
Was funny until they impounded my car and threw me in jail for a few hours

That's some crap... I've been pulled over for speeding and got hit for no insurance, too. But I just had to prove to the court that I got the car covered with the minimum insurance within 30 days of the ticket. I had no problems doing that, and it resulted in a $10 dismissal fee (I took defensive driving for the speeding portion).

I got caught doing 180 in an 80 zone! 4 points, 2500$ fine and 6 month suspension!! Lucky for me the judge messed up the amount i was over, the crown was talking kms & she was thinking % over! It was rreduced to 2 points & 400$ with no suspension due to what they actually "read out" charged me with!!

LMBmikeZ 03-12-2013 08:21 PM

Can't wait to hear how much your insurance goes up!

theboydiddy 03-12-2013 09:39 PM

Don't worry Papi. My insurance does NOT goes up and it's cheaper than a 60 year old man's insurance leaving in Tennessee. ;)
