I find the brake / accelerator pedal transition awkward and I think it is partly because of the hinge on the bottom, and partly the height difference - not so

I find the brake / accelerator pedal transition awkward and I think it is partly because of the hinge on the bottom, and partly the height difference - not so easy to slide from light braking to slight acceleration or maybe it's the other way around
