I talked smack to some guy on a mustang forum about how mustangs can't handle and he actually got his cam-corder and took the mustang on a windy road by the lake and looked like he almost lost it trying to power-slide it. Posted the vid on the forum. I got banned for that one, lol. He is now a moderator. Supposedly made a ton of money on the stock market or whatnot as a younger guy (19). Who knows? Either way, yeah, +1 about people and common sense at times.

*Oh, like to add, I did own a 5.0 GT at the time.

If I see someone with a nice car GTR, Ferrari, Porsche, Lexus, etc. I don't say $hit to them! Too many of them have their head so inflated that is not even funny.

I will "thumbs up" or say "Hi" to 350Z, 370Zs, G35, or G37 and that is about it.

Nah, not all, I ran this lady in her 997 4S one time and she pulled over and gave me a ride in it afterward. Lots of them are pretty cool. Just don't ask how $$ or dumb questions like that and I have never had a problem with 'em being snooty. They just get tired of the gawkers who want to know how much/how fast/whatever. Make normal convo.

true. i only got about 5/8"of length increase and only about 3/8" of girth when buying my Z. Even with the manual transmission. I guess thats what you get for under 40k.

Was in the WS6, beat it every time. However, she said "I was in 5th gear, lol".

I called BS.

She gave me a ride to prove it. Apparently at a 70 punch, there is about 500rpm difference between 4th and 5th in that car, lol. Either way, took her for a ride in the WS6 and she seemed impressed with the torque and said it felt faster, however, no telling how much of that was just her being polite, etc. By the numbers, her car should make short work of me. Then again, other cars that should have done the same didn't, either (new Camaro SS supposedly traps 110+ in good hands. From a roll, I never had one leave me).

The only time I ever tried anything in the G20, it was a new camaro SS, and I tried to hang in the corners. Bad call. The back tires slid around and I looked a fool. Ironically, a 350Z was behind me and slowed down to gawk. It was dark, but I am sure I got the "WTF dumbass!?" look for attempting to keep pace with the Camaro.

No harm, no foul, late at night, just my pride got hurted : (

yea the 997 C4S makes about the same hp (granted not torque, that's probably the "it feels faster" comment) with a lot less weight and better traction so yea, i'd say it should have been an nose or so faster through most of a 1/4 drag
