DO NOT use 87 unless you like engine damage. You'll get pre-detonation out the pooper.
I mistakenly ran 89 for a couple of tanks and it ran like crap. I also ran a test on my old Celica (11 1/2 to 1 compression) by running "plus" (89 octane). My mileage actually dropped drastically enough that it was cheaper to run 91 or 93. |
