I have everything stripped out of the back and the car is stupid loud on the highway, can barely hear the radio. With the mats and plastics in the back it is a lot better but definitely not G37 quiet.

Haha, I drove mine like that once. Took out all the foam from the spare tire area and the mats. I agree, it was LOUD!

If you consider the foam that holds the spare tire in place, then yes. But aside from that there's absolutely nothing.

The 2 carpets are the insulation. There is a little bit around the plastic trim pieces but that is just to prevent vibration I believe.
