I dynamatted the doors & trunk this past weekend by myself. Took about 6 hours total and costed $160 for dynamat & tools. Bought the 7 sheet pack from Amazon, that's more than enough.
It does reduce cabin noise by about 10 - 15% (yes, scientific personal ear reading, lol). I was hoping for a little more but overall happy with the time & money invested in this project. Stereo sounds better and gravel/rain hitting tire wells is reduced by more than the numbers listed above. I agree with many previous posters on this thread, stock tires are the main culprit for the road noise. However, no plans to change them out until they wear down. |
