Doorjam states only month and year, not day of production. In some other makes I've owner, one digit (or two) of the VIN identifies the day of production. Apparently not here though. There was a reference in a past post to Certificate of Origin. I don't believe I have such a certificate. Should I have gotten one at delivery?

Maybe maybe not, the Cert. of Orgin if its the thing i'm thinking of was on the windshield of your Z while it was at the dealership. I know I had asked for mine but the dealer prep people threw it away. To get the day of production (not just the month an year) I went to the service counter and asked if they could find it for me, all they needed was the Vin number and they printed off a sheet in 2 minutes. I'm curious if the production day is the day they started or finished the car completly.
