370z LS Swap

forget the turbo engine, just put the ZR1 engine in the 370Z and you got the best of both, big V8 power and a SC.

It's cheaper to twin turbo a 370Z. A twin turbo VQ37 has a very similar powerband as a VR38DETT.

i'd honestly love to see what kind of power the superchargers are putting out with a built motor. i love the idea of a built motor with a supercharger in a Z. having all that power on tap and having it come on nice and smooth. a build similar to bullit's but with SC

My C6 was lighter than my 370z, get the weight crap out of your head.

3310lbs 2005 C6 vs 3348lbs on 370z

Lol, it sounded to me like 3K shifts and a slow wind to about 35-4500 and then a hit. V8's in light cars are impressive if you're not used to 'em. Especially the LSX series.

For every one of these that works, there are probably a dozen hack cars. I would just buy a Z06/GT-R instead. You will save money and have a nicer car with resale value and a warranty.

That's why you take your time and do it right. Don't cut corners and you'll be fine.

Re-sale will still suck. You will NEVER get NEAR your money back from mods. That is why you can buy 1200whp Viper's for $90K instead of the $200+K they cost to build, etc.

Do you think anyone that sticks an LS in anything gives a flying f*ck about resale value?

Seriously. Almost every aftermarket mod to any car is done at a loss.

Exactly, I thought the economy was bad. I am still amazed at how the money thrown into mods and stupid stuff. (I am guilty, full of $hit int he garage)
