Who compliments your Z?

I wonder if the GT-R gets the same reaction as the Z to women. Its an impressive machine, but for the most part, mostly guys know what it is. Surprisingly, I had more girls come up to me when I had my RX-8, but I think it had to do with the car being red and shiny.

I had the opposite response when I had my RX-8. It was a guy magnet! Not that there's anything wrong with that, but not my thing as a middle aged married dude. I have to say though, that the questions were always very thoughtful (asking about the rotary, weight distribution, suicide doors, etc.).

Then I owned a MINI. That was a grandma magnet. But you know, cool grandmas. Except when gas was approaching $5 a gallon. Then everyone asked me what MPGs I had achieved (the answer, in case you are wondering is 40 mpg cruising at 60 mph, windows up, no AC).

Now I get the looks with the Z others describe and some "nice car!" comments. No particular demographic. Although there is a cute jogger I pass every now and again and I always get a double take from her (funny, she doesn't do that when I'm driving my Mazda
