It drives much differently than the Z, though. I'd say it's a lot harder to drive the 5.0 fast than it is the Z.

The only place I could see the Z having an advantage is in Auto X. Lighter, shorter wheel base, and more nimble. Everywhere else the Brembo 5.0 has the edge.

Not knocking on the Z at all... just sharing my experience.

Three words, son... Ess Are Ayyyy... lol jk. Been a while since I busted that one out.:inoutroflpuke:

Don't mind us, we're just speaking a super secret language found only in the DC/MD/VA area. :icon17:

It's a joke. Ppl used to say the Mustang is slow because of its solid rear axle (hence SRA).

true.. but still, it seems taller than the 300's!! then again, maybe it was the ridiculously oversized wheels on the one i saw... :shakes head:

In the end I am impatient and bought the Z. If GM survives I will definitely look at the Camaro in a few years as a replacement for the Z.

Just out of curiosity, what did you think about the 8 and Genesis Coupe?

Yeah I dunno what it is. It'd be pretty sick if it was shorter. I just looks so odd how its stretched vertically.

I'm not going to fault your point of view, as preferences are all personal, but I'm quite sure the BOSS is going to destroy most everything in or near its class on a road course. The regular 5.0 with Brembos is quite a bit quicker than the NISMO around a track already, and the Boss is going to seriously outdo the Brembo 5.0. I think its going to surprise the hell out of a lot of people.

Yeah, they aimed at beating the M3 as their goal, and they were able to do it with a Boss 302 prototype their first lap out on the track. On the track I don't think the 370Z is even close to the same class, without serious modifications.

Speed has a pretty awesome 1 hour special about the making of the new Boss, it was very cool. I think it airs again next Saturday.

Yeah, they beat the M3 around Laguna Seca by over 3 seconds on the first lap out. And 3 seconds on Laguna is a LOT of time.
