Come on, do you really wanna pick up your girl in a hatch back?(sti) or do you really wanna pick up your girl in a car that looks like kim jung ill? (evo x)
That's been the only time that the 370Z has ousted the Evo X on a track, stock for stock. Go look at all of the other results.

The STi actually tied the Evo X on their track as well; where do you get your info from?

And nobody gives a damn about quarter mile times unless they have a mullet.

Play around with the site a little - that's a system-generated comment

I'm done posting on this site for a while... too much ignorance around here for my tastes.

If any of you are curious, go compare track times from a 2010 Evo X GSR vs. a 2010 370Z. Both cars had 1 MY to sort out any tuning issues, and you'll find they're nearly identical on the track, stock-for-stock.

If we have another bad winter I might consider an Evo X.

Just sayin'.

They are great cars and I personally think it looks just as good as the Z though in a different sort of way. I'd only be wary of Mitsubishi as I've heard a lot of complaints about them -- though I honestly have no idea as all of this has been on the internet.

Learned something from this thread (believe it or not) - I can start from a stop an AWD vehicle better than a RWD, especially if it's got a dual clutch .

My nephew's Evo MR was so ridiculously easy to launch at traffic lights that, after scolding him not to exhibit speed, I found myself having a hard time doing so when I was behind the wheel.

I figured a Z would be harder to launch properly on a straight (okay, I gotz no skillz); those numbers in "Fastest Laps", if true, paint a pretty convincing picture.
