To the OP, be sure you have a strong base before you spend money on a car. It's a depreciating asset, and mostly for fun. As sad as it sounds fun shouldn't be your first priority. Also, be wary of sales/commission jobs. You won't always make as much as you think.

The point is not that we're talking about a car that is worth $30k+, but that he wants it for free. Nothing in life is free, and if you start out in life thinking that you should be able to get it for free, that's just not a good thing... 
On the other hand, the second half of your post is a valid concern. But again, he didn't start this thread by stating he wanted to BUY a car.
