Curb weight/gross weight

thanks, the only info on the door was gross weight. i had to look up the curb weight. Im setting up my G Tech Pro portable dyno and i needed to know the weight of the car for it.

Then look up the "as tested" weight, the curb weight is apparently without any fluids.

Nein. Curb weight is the car in off-the-lot form, and includes all necessary operating fluids and a full tank of gas.

To use these horsepower estimators, you need to do: Curb weight - (expended gallons of gas x 6.0) + occupant weight.

Either way, Nissan's curb weight is wrong according to anyone with a scale.

Weird, you could be right for the numbers Nissan published. Usually actual weight is lower than curb weight, with no cargo or passengers. Their numbers would seem more like "dry weight" numbers then.
