How about an automatic non sports car.
If their is a problem take it to a dealership early. If not, learn to use first gear and save your clutch.

for the automatic, they say the only reason to start in 2nd gear instead of 1st is to avoid spin out on icy road. i tried it out on my mercedes and it felt slower so i never used it again.

i was expecting it to be about the same since i don't drive the mercedes very hard but it felt like a much weaker car.

well its sorta the point on snow.... u start in 2nd cuz u dont WANT to have all the power... then you dont break traction. especially with more powerful cars.
