LMAO...my wife too!

I bought my Z last October. Two weeks after I picked my car up my wife say's, "Don't worry, you don't have to get rid of your Z...we're having a baby".

Too bad the Maxima is FWD with a CVT transmission... if it were a well-balanced AWD with a proper manual or the 7AT out of the Z, I'd take one. Definitely a nice looking car. Soooo much nicer than the TL, Accord, Galant, or Mazda6.

I've been driving my '01 AE Maxima since new and I still like it allot but the new ones?? CVT and no manual means I wouldn't even look at owning one now. I'd be forced to go to another brand in that price range.

As for the commercial, it seems more appropriate for me to watch it in reverse...Maxima to Z

Why all the hate on the CVT? It almost seems like a kool-aid syndrome when people talk bad about it.

If I'm driving an automatic without paddle shifters, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the CVT. It's different, but not something that would deter me completely from purchasing a car.

That was a great commercial. Good thing I don't plan on having kids any time soon.

My mom always points out how she had to sell her 280Z when she was pregnant with me and now makes jokes about how I might have to do the same if I settle down (screw that, the Z stays ).
