How fast were you going? I think below a certain speed, the ABS doesn't kick in. Also, even when it does activate, it doesn't mean the brakes can't possibly lock

How fast were you going? I think below a certain speed, the ABS doesn't kick in.
Also, even when it does activate, it doesn't mean the brakes can't possibly lock up -- all it does is pulse the brakes for you making it less likely to lock.
