They have merit in theory for cars with crappy old-school ignition systems, but the best bet for our coil-on-plug (COP) direct ignition system is the stock or equivalent plugs. End of story. You'll never make any more power within the 370Z ignition system unless you're pushing over a bar of boost.
Ugh those were garbage. Zex made some colder plugs for FI applications that had multiple ground straps as well (similar concept) and they were the WORST spark plugs I've ever used. $1.99 NGK copper plugs are 10x more well-built. Spark plugs aren't something to gamble on - if one has a structural defect and falls apart, you can kiss that cylinder and possibly other cylinders that suck debris in goodbye.
