I own 2 cars now with fobs and I have never ever ever had any locking issues in over the last few years. And believe me I done tried to beat the fob system cuz my wife drives the cars too... wanna keep her safe. Being this is such an isolated case I would put my money on human error.

I left the keyfob in the car and she locked the doors with the button on the door that's inside the car...

Yup! i tried that same thing over the weekend. The button wont unlock your door
