Awesome. If they co-signed with you, that will/would be even more awesome. You will graduate college with pretty established credit. I wish I had done something similar to what you are doing. Instead of scrambling to boost my beacon a bit, I would already be there. :tiphat:

I did. I love them forever... Lol.. But then again the main reason why i got this car was because my best friend that i knew since i was 3 got his car when he was 15 and he got a G37S.. so he set the bar pretty high. Then my other friend got a red Genesis.. so i asked for a 370z and it took awhile but now I have the fastest car out of all haha... But i feel bad when i see other people who are alot older that drive cars that arent better than mine. Like i am only 17 and my parents bought a 53k car.. (42.6k invoice.. got it to 39k then with taxes and APR and warranty.. it came out to 53k)

:iagree:

Not to sound harsh, but if you had them buy you this car jus to be faster than your friends then the next car your parents get for is gonna be a hearse! Seriously bro be f-ing careful!!!

No no. Thats not my point. It wasnt to beat my friends. My parents knew my friends since i was like 4 so he set the bar.

Three7D 12-03-2010 03:36 PM

Ok bro I'm jus saying, it sounded kinda ignorant the way you laughed about being "faster than your friends"! Enjoy the Z man! Ok back on topic I'm 26! :tiphat:

Interested in getting a 370z Graphite platinum.

I will be 26 when I get it. I am 25 right now but I am currently deployed in afghanistan.

Many wonder how someone young can get a 370z.

You can do what I did by joining the Army Reserves, go to school and have it paid by the US Army, join ROTC and get commissioned as an officer and save money while deployed to get it off the lot paid full!!! hahaha

I hope that helps! ;)

Well, for me going to a Service Academy and the parents not having to pay for school really helped out. Saved up a bit, put a little down from the loan they give us senior year here, and my pops also chipped in.

Nice dude, congrats!

In my opinion, this "poll" does not represent the age of 370Z owners. This is not a random sample. It is a better measure of the age of people who have time for and interest in social networking.

Baer383 01-18-2011 08:40 PM

msb3079 01-18-2011 08:57 PM

dirtrat 01-19-2011 01:11 AM

Mom and Dad helped alot of these kids and many are still living at home. I know kids in these situations that devote their entire paychecks to the car and insurance. It's not always what it seems. Like someone else said this is not an accurate poll. The day I finished High school I was out of the house and living on my own. The best my parents did for me was co-sign my first car loan but thats about it.

Lol well I'm 22 and own a Nismo 370z and a 613 hp 1990 300zx and have built my own home, Mommy and daddy have not paid a penny. I have a college degree in Aerospace and work at Unitied Launch Alliance and I have been here almost 3 years. So its not really fair that you think just cause someone is young they have to have mom and dad pay for their stuff.

Jquad 01-19-2011 03:57 AM

25 here:tup:

Most people either got a degree that's useful (and work in that field), have parents that they live with, or they are in the service industry (bartenders, dancers, etc.) or military. They probably wore a condom or just got incredibly lucky and don't have to worry about supporting a family at an early age. They know how to save their money instead of blowing it on booze or going out every night.

My point is, a $35K car is not hard to attain before age 25 if you don't mess around with life and go get it done. It's people who don't think about their actions and consequences of them who have trouble trying to get nice things in life. Or if your calling is a low income job (nothing wrong with that), it may take longer before you can buy some things. You have to do what you enjoy, but there is a price for it sometimes.

I do not own a 370Z, as I bought something else (thus did not vote), but had I deceided to go with a 370Z, I would cast my vote at 25.

Three7D 01-19-2011 04:48 AM

I work my *** off because I got the bright idea to drop out of high school! Something like 65 hrs a week, on a shipping dock! You gotta pay to play!!! If I want it I go get!

Thankyou!

I bet it pisses you off when people whine about you having nice things, too. People just like to assume that anyone with something better than them somehow got it as a product of their environment/luck instead of their own means and hard work. It's how people with a perception of an inferior lifestyle feel better about themselves, and it grates on my nerves. I bet that makes them happy, lol.

Rone 01-19-2011 09:01 AM

I'm 25 now, but will be 26 (bday 27JUL) when I get my first Z (370). Ewwww, I'm getting old!
