How old are you?
Just wondering, I'll be 61 in June
|
Are you asking the age I got de-virginized?
Lol.. Anyway I voted as requested based on my current age. |
Iv been curious about this myself. whenever i take my Nimso to car shows i normally end up hanging out with a bunch of other Z guys in their late 40's or early 50's. Not that there is a problem with this or anything but its just an observation:tup:
|
Mid life crisis. You'll get there one way or the other.
Just joined the corvette gang recently and Im the youngest in the bunch of 60 and above. Old age is inevitable its a matter of how you look at it or arrive to it. |
i'm 75. Bought my Z new in 2010. Still enjoying it as much as ever.
|
Been into cars since I was 16, turn 31 this year
|
I'm so old they ask for my ID just to make sure I'm legal to drive and not a road hazard.

I approach it with titstosterone. |
im barely on this poll, you guys dont assume teens can buy a car this awesome :D
|
^^^09 370Z has significantly dropped its price that is no surprise teens such as you can afford to get a hand of this wonderful vehicle.
Congratulations you will enjoy this car for sure but act with prudence when you drive on the road. Got mine at 38K brand new in 2011. Can't even make a decent trade for 19K. You can have one for 12k in the market now. |

|
Hi Jewelz is that you pictured next to that beautiful horse?:tiphat:
The looks of it you definitely not having the mid life crisis! |
I felt this way with my last car. I'm 23, own a house and have had a few sports car paid off.. Before my 370z I had a 14 SS Camaro and all the meets I went to everyone was 40+, really turned me off on the car scene and now I don't go to any meets.

What's the matter son?

Oh shoot. I thought it was claritin. |
Actually this poll is not different than others done before regarding our Z.
I have been a Z owner way back to owning a new 240Z(Datsun). Have a bought new Z33(STILL HAVE). It instilled the original Z ROOTS. Cannot say the Z34 DOES. Truthfully,it's a evolution that I have experienced. The Z33--now out of production since 2008.The 34,in need of a refresh or a complete redo(my vote). Cut to the chase:cars off lease,used--guys mod. This is pretty much gone with the 350Z. Hey,some have had 3-4 owners. Some are beaters. This is beginning to happen with the 370Z. Actually we are in a hot time. These puppies are affordable, look cool, parts to mod out there and reasonable. A good time to be a Z owner!! |
41, and no longer needed to own the practical family car - my wife does! Got rid of the nearly full bolt-on and tuned G37XS last September for the 2015 370Z Nismo.

58 touring sport Z, Had a Pinto in high school and a Maverick in college both given to me by my parents so no complaints.
My first nice sports car was a 1979 911 Targa. The Z is refined and predictable compared to the Targa. |
I'm just here for the gang bang.
|
27 here, before this I had a '14 Focus ST, an '05 Mustang GT vert, and my first car on '04 V6 mustang. The Z is my first non Ford and my first import.
|
36. I've owned the Z for 5 years. Z man since I was 18.

Unfortunately not my friend. Between monies and trying to get time off its not feasible. Canadian peso hurts my travels. |
40 year old here on my 3rd generation Z car.
Looking at the numbers, seems I'm too old to be driving a Z. 😞 |

I am really thanksful to Nissan that I can enjoy this good performance-to-price ratio on 370Z. Sent from my XT1565 using Tapatalk |

48 here, with quite the resume of performance cars over the last 30 years.
For the younger folks; good on you for getting a 'real' car early on. Us old farts learned to drive in cars where a lap belt on a bench seat was pretty much the safety bit in the car; drum brakes, manual rack steering, gear select on the steering column, a radio - if you optioned for it, and all wrapped in 3+ tons of pig-iron... It taught us that we were responsible for piloting a marginally controlled missile at 70+ mph, and the car did nothing to save us (or the people around us). So we learned to actually drive. Now-a-days cars are full of electro-nannies that do everything for you, gizmos that you can play with, and 37 airbags to save you - just so you don't actually have to drive the car... And that's making for some ridiculously bad drivers out there. The 'Zed' is trying to remain that 'true driving car' with a minimum of things to do the work for the driver... So, yeah - good on you for getting a real car early on. You'll live longer on the highway. ;) |
240 Vs 370
I had the first 1970 Red 240 Z sold in my state (Tennessee) in late 1969.........Just turned 72 last Sunday and got a new Red Z......This time just to drive for fun....... compared the 370 I can tell you for sure that the 240Z was a piece of $hit...........can not believe how far these cars have come. I sold a 1966 427 Vette to get my first Z because I was going to graduate school in Atlanta and had just gotten married. My wife (yes same wife) loved the 240 and she loves the 370, and agrees with me about what a difference there is. The second week I had the 240Z we drove to Atlanta to find a place to live and while I was sitting at a big intersection red light an elderly woman hit us from behind and knocked us thru the intersection. I was lucky because in those days there was a huge Zcar dealer in Atlanta called BRE DATSUN............They worked on racing Z cars........They fixed my car just like new and I got a lot of racing stuff put on the 240. The window price on the 240 when I got it was $3,300.00.........Four yrs later when I sold it I got $6,700.00 for it. The 240 had no acceleration but was a hell of a top end car. Had a lot of fun in that car. I had the BRE DATSUN folks fixed my car I had them take the DATSUN emblems on the sides off (they were in script writing) and put them back in reverse ........(SUN DAT)........the Zs were so new nobody knew what the hell they were...........lol. I had so much fun when people would cum up to me when I was getting gas etc.............they would ask me, what the heck is that ? I told them all kinds of things.......
