Believe what you want, but I have yet to see a Nissan Oil Filter fail after all these years of owning Nissans. If you want to keep your warranty intact and not have a part that the dealer could argue with you about, stay with the OEM filters.

I have always used OEM in my cars so that dealer don't give stories since it's under warranty. Now, if your car it out of warranty period, feel free use w/e.

Out of curiosity, I would like to remove and look inside your oil pan. Some times you'll find,"what is this", or "what was that"!
