Anyone ever get stopped for missing front plate?

I live in Montana. By law I am supposed to have a front plate. I drove my 350 for 3 yrs. without it and have been driving my 370 nismo

I drove my 350 for 3 yrs. without it and have been driving my 370 nismo for about 6 mo's without it. I have never been stopped and hope I am not because the holder looks like **** and I don't want to drill holes in my car.
