I do that all the time.... especially in super public places like the movies, or in downtown areas. I *know* a fellow 350 or 370 owner isn't gonna ding me.

I used to see a lot of RSX's parked next to my old Celica GT-S -- it's as if they were left to play together

Some probably are initially checking out the car and need to park, so they leave it there; others think it's cool to leave them together (play date!); other cases are probably just totally random (gotta park somewhere).

Last night a POS 'rolla parked next to mine...

I actually made my wife drive out of our way at the movies the other night so we could take an end spot next to a 350Z. Definitely no chance of a door ding like that

Best place to park ,beside a new Z... you know there wont be door dings.

Notice he parked close to you and left lots of room on his drivers side,he knows your not going to swing your door into his ,and left himself lots of room on the drivers side for the unknown.

Could be worst... Some fatty in an SUV could have parked next to you. Then again it would have been too far walk for them.

I usually park in a place where a) its so far away its unlikely someone will park next to me, and B) if possible always to a curb protecting at least one side from someone parking next to me. But it always is kind of comforting when another nice car will park out there with me, as if we both know the mutual respect certain car owners have.

Ok so I posted on this thread yesterday. I leave work last night and go by the grocery store. The parking lot is nearly empty except for the workers of course. I park on the entire other side completely off and to myself. I walk out and sure enough some POS is parked right next to me...and funny thing is he walks up to the car at the same time I do...and asks the typical question...is it fast?....Is that seriously the best question people can come up with?

I park in the middle of nowhere if I can. I did that once and came back to find a Sanford and Son style truck right next to me with open parking everywhere. I think someone had a sense of humor.

one of the guys i work with here has a CC similar to my KC and we park next to each other every day (that i'm working 2nd that is) at the back of the lot, we even take up two spaces each lol. recently, some jackass in an f150 keeps parking like he's "with" us... i'm like no
