About 3 months ago I was driving down the freeway in my 300zx when I got passed by about 20 G35s and 350z's going REALLY fast... I wasn't sure if I should try to keep up or see if any of them crash ahead of me. LOL
over here, we dont have any particular meets like just Z's or just G's

instead we got a meet every Thursday evening at this one parking lot. more than 70+ cars usually show up...all kinds, which is nice...lol
and meet ppl who can do mods for you...like headlight and other stuff..
and then the police drive by all the time...haha

There's a few high profile meet ups like that here. We have the exotic meet ups on Sundays where the cars that are $100K+ show up. There's usually about 120 cars of all sorts... Lambos, Ferraris, etc.

My car club is about fast cars. If it's fast it's allowed in. Since we're heavily involved with racing, we have a bunch of sleepers. Datsuns with V8s, VERY fast trucks, couple modded up F-Bodies, Corvettes, etc... Lately because of the season, the turn-outs have been small - between 10-15 cars. But during the summer we get about 20 - 25 cars.

Yeah... It was all sun and fun 3 weeks ago. A bunch of the owners brought their garage whores out for play. It's too bad I still don't have my 370 yet.

I hope I'll be ordering mine this month. I've been holding back for some "legal" issues I'm having and waiting for a check... Of course, things can drag on and I could be kicking dirt for a while. I contacted a dealer here and he said he can get me everything I want plus mats and kick panels for a hair over 40K. So I'll likely be going that route. I don't really want the illuminated kick panels, but the mats I DO want. So it works out.

Pretty much how it goes is people stand around in a parking lot for about 2 hours talking about cars. If you show up all the time, you'll hear the same stuff over and over. My car club is a little different, but in the end, we always end up standing out in a parking lot BSing about cars. LOL

That must of been fun. Having a whole bunch of people surrounding your car examming every inch of the car... Your girl(car) would have been a little emarassed from so much attention. =P
