Gear Shift Will Kill me

If you take a good browse throughout these threads, you'll find out that MTs in Zs are just a bit clunky--just a little bit--, but most of the posters here are young ones, so they seem to adjust pretty well to it. Me? I'm a 61-year-old man, so I went the AT way, and am loving it each and every day. Greetings!

Haha, it seems like you havent driven a first generation G35. After that car every manual tranny including the Z drives like butter.

BTW i can shift from 1st - 2nd with one finger. I don't know what your issue is.

Thats pretty impressive. what do you use for the clutch and gas?

my left and right nut.... and for emergency braking i pop a boner faster than 0.003 seconds.

Only thing I notice is that downshifting into first is tough unless I'm going pretty damned slow. I don't really mind though because it definitely keeps me from inadvertently over-revving the motor by accidentally dropping the car into first.

you need to push the clutch in ALL the way - not 1/2 not 3/4
