No, the engine is around 9-10k tops. Also, technically the oil is meant to be changed around 7k miles so the dealership could have a case against him for not

Also, technically the oil is meant to be changed around 7k miles so the dealership could have a case against him for not paying for a new engine, but I think they were just trying to instill fear into you.
