I agree your point, the technology on automatic transmission is getting very good nowadays, they shift faster, accelerate faster, excellent fuel consumption.

The auto-transmission might be 0.2-0.4s faster than a stick-shift in 0-62 under hard acceleration, but, how often do you do those kind of acceleration in real world? So that fraction of time difference in practical use means almost nothing (at least to me).

What does matter, is the enjoyment of fully control the car yourself and having fun doing heel-toe when you feel like to.

Just my $0.02, of course, you like it, use it!! But let your heel do some exercise sometimes. LOL

Haha...I kinda suck as heel-toe! That's the problem. Perhaps that's why I prefer to use SRM.
