I just got my Z yesterday so the jury's out. I answered "no" because right now I think I've got "trust" issues... I had SRM on for several miles leaving the dealership and it was freaking me out; messing with my shifts too much! I suspect if I just give up and let it do its thing, I'll fall in love with it. But I'm not there yet.

It's on. Downshifts are smoother... but Upshifts are not as smooth. Why is that?

shouldn't matter. perhaps you are not applying slight throttle when engaging the higher gear during your up shift?

I used to love the feature and had it ON until recently I started heel-and-toeing myself and finally got it somewhat smooth. I have it turned OFF now and the car feels even better! Of course, if I wear long shoes then I have hard time, but I try to practice often!

It's really difficult to heel-toe in high heels/platforms so I just leave it on.

It's always on. Really smooth shifts. Coolest sound ever.

I dont have SRS (base model). If I did I wouldn't use it. I love to Heel to Toe. Guess because it's just really easy for me. Keeps you honest.

It's an awesome feature. And it's great that Nissan made it so if you prefer to heel/toe, or simply don't like it, you can just turn it off.

Mine is off mostly, but if I feel like some spirited/challenging driving ahead I turn it on. Other applications include a twisty road or a demonstrate to a passenger.

For the first year or few months (can't remember anymore), I used to keep the SRM off most of the time and only turn it on weekends. It kept me honest but after a while I just didn't care and left it on 24/7.

on the first few weeks I had the car but it scarred me haha... so since then have had it off and love it. Keeps you honest and on your game, nothing feels better then a well executed down/upshift and a heel-toe shift when down shifting.

seems like however if i would put it back on now and use it, probably would love it... but i find myself driving a lot of other MT cars other then my personal Z i.e. friends mustands, bmws, all that and they dont have SRM so gotta stay on my game to look good to the guys... otherwise
