man i hate it when they put upshift to push up. its so opposite to what ive done all along. u pull down to shift up, it just makes sense,

man i hate it when they put upshift to push up. its so opposite to what ive done all along. u pull down to shift up, it just makes sense, specially under hard accel. and the opposite for braking

I don't get it... so pushing "up" to upshift doesn't make sense??
 But 2-3 shift has always been "up" for me... BTW... if manuals were obsolete and inferior to the 7at technology, then why is the Nismo only available in 6MT??? Anniversary edition? Seems like Nissan has a soft spot for the old dead technology.

Although my DD is not a performance car, it is an auto with paddles and this "sequential" shifter in "manual" mode. I had actually considered putting a true sequential shifter in my 6MT but I haven't heard of anyone manufacturing the unit yet. |
